@omar Note: WGSL ended up completely different than its initial proposed form and is no longer "SPIR-V in text form" and more like a conventional shading language.
@omar If I recall correctly, one of the main design constraints on that first version of WGSL was that it had to be bijective with SPIR-V (as a work-around for the Khronos/Apple IP issues) but that turned out to have too many issues.
