Your Shadertoy status is calculated based on your contributions to the community. Shadertoy takes many factors into account such as the number of shaders you create, the number of likes you have
received, the number of followers, how long you have been in the community and more.

- Bronze: Post up to 10 comments per day and share up to 5 shaders per day.
- Silver: Post up to 25 comments per day and share up to 20 shaders per day.
- Gold: Post up to 300 comments per day and share up to 100 shaders per day.

like an old vBulletin forum. I think it only works because of multiple things that make it feel indie and not-corporate, not-optimized, not-designed, just written by the programmer who made the site
