they're both tedious but in different ways: long cloud instructions with lots of steps https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/virtual-workstation/linux-gpu vs. getting up and finding all bits of hardware (power supply, HDMI cable, mini-tripod) & maybe needing to re-install Linux on SD card etc
