feel like the fundamental problem with Apple / Apple alumni is that the iPhone was so successful that it basically destroyed any real culture of personal computing in the compny

all these products that emerged from that Apple culture are like, manage your emails better, manage your contacts, etc -- improvements to the (weak) paradigm of computing set up by the iPhone
