has anyone made like a tiny JavaScript HEIC header parser so users don't get that awkward distorted preview every time they upload an iPhone photo to chat/social media?

(it happens while it's uploading, before the backend has actually processed the image, bc browsers don't even know the aspect ratio of a HEIC image, let alone the content)
